The Inspiration Behind Artefactia
I’m Dhruv Jain, and my journey with Artefactia began not in India, but in London, UK, where I lived since 2018. While traveling across Europe and the USA, I was struck by a Realization—Indian marble, one of the world’s most beautiful and historically significant materials, remained largely unrecognised in the global luxury space. While European luxury brands were celebrated for their craftsmanship, India’s master marble artisans, whose skill rivals the finest in the world, remained in the shadows. I wanted to introduce unparalleled and exquisite Indian craftsmanship to the world and promote the rich heritage through these artefacts.
Growing up in Jaipur, Rajasthan—a city renowned for its breathtaking marble carvings and centuries-old craftsmanship—I knew the world was missing out on something extraordinary. This led me to create Artefactia: a brand with a mission to put Indian marble on the global luxury map. After years of research, collaborating with artisans, and perfecting our designs, Artefactia was launched in 2024—a brand that fuses India’s rich marble heritage with modern luxury aesthetics.
